I don't currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation if clients wish to submit to an insurance company for "out of network" benefit coverage

Even if you have been in therapy before and it did not feel helpful, most of my clients report my approach is different and much more helpful than their past endeavors in psychotherapy. I tailor my therapy to the client's needs, individual issues and both short and long term goals. I use a variety of techniques to bring about healing including dream work, CBT, DBT, EMDR and more traditional psychotherapy. In addition, I often refer my clients to additional resources to aid in their progress including acupuncture, skills training, coaching, group psychotherapy and meditation.

Though the idea of entering therapy can be quite anxiety provoking, the rewards are often immeasurable and worth the vulnerability. I truly feel it is an honor working with clients and helping them to find the strengths they never realized they had. Living and working in San Francisco in these modern times can be a difficult, demanding experience. Therapy can serve as a safe place to explore the expectations put upon you by society and often by our past beliefs and current mindset. Slowing down and examining the thoughts that shape our moods and behaviors can help to ease anxiety and worry and prevent sadness and suffering. Through hard work both in and out of the therapy room, one can turn difficulty into strengths and joy.
