My Approach to Helping
Therapy is an opportunity to better understand who you are and what is keeping you from achieving your goals. Therapy can help you feel more confident about how you experience yourself within your family and/or relationships. I work in a sensitive, caring manner, creating an environment of trust and bringing curiosity, openness, and respect for who you are. I help facilitate new ways to approach tough situations, and build on the strengths you already possess so that you have the tools to handle difficulties and move forward with your life.

Send me an e-mail, call me, or go to my website to get a better idea of what therapy is all about and how it works. We can go through all of your questions, and see if I'll be able to help. These chats normally last up to 30 minutes, and there's no charge. My usual fee is $100 for a 50 minute session however I can also make fee adjustments based on your financial needs. I am a provider for some insurance companies.

More Info About My Practice
Children are affected by events in their lives as deeply as adults, sometimes more so. Seeking professional assistance for your child is often a good idea if your child is in emotional distress and this distress is significantly interfering with their daily functioning and/or their achievement of normal developmental milestones. Therapy not only provides children with an opportunity to safely express their feelings and thoughts, but it also helps them develop the tools to handle life's difficulties in a more positive and constructive manner. I assist children with anxiety, depression, crisis, trauma, and stressful life experiences. I help children learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, recover from trauma, and learn a variety of ways of relating to others.
