My Approach to Helping
*Due to coronavirus, I am offering video sessions only and will reassess in September 2021.*
If you are reading this, chances are, you’ve tried just about everything and still feel angry, depressed, lonely, and overwhelmed.
My therapeutic style is dynamic, genuine, and straight forward. My aim is to help you set realistic goals, identify unhealthy patterns, and understand the underlying causes of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Many of my clients have reported reduced panic attacks, diminished desire to use alcohol or food to numb their emotional pain, a clearer cultural and racial identity, as well as learning crucial skills to identify “red flags” in relationships. With consistent hard work, we can replace unhealthy coping mechanisms with confidence, peace, and genuine joy in your life.
If you are motivated and ready to make real positive changes in your life, please reach out to me.
I am a licensed psychotherapist in New York. I am also an adjunct professor at Teachers College, Columbia University.
