My Approach to Helping
Addressing anxiety, trauma, or your relationship with substances is a decision that’s both rewarding and challenging. Wherever you are on your road to recovery, I’m interested in hearing your story, creating a space where you feel understood, and working together to build a life you love, step by step.
My philosophy is “benevolent curiosity.” Expect me to ask lots of questions and work with you to reconstruct your story into one of empowerment. I use relaxation techniques to effectively channel anxiety, create a space to confront difficult emotions, and offer reading suggestions to build on our work together.
I know this path is hard, but there is hope for change. Starting therapy is the path to acceptance, wellness, and a more fulfilling life.
