My Approach to Helping
It’s okay to accept support; you don’t have to do it alone. I am happy to discuss the things that seem scary, confusing, and make you or your partner feel unheard. I know finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, thus my hope is to make it as easy as possible for you and I to connect. Often, we have difficulty accepting help because we feel that we should be able to do it all. We must parent perfectly, we must set goals for those around us and on social media, our very being is centered on others, but not when you work with me. I can promise you that I am as real as it gets and believe in building with you. I want to help you reach the solutions and life changes you seek while making the process as pleasant as possible. Life is hard enough. Therapy doesn’t have to be. Calling a therapist can be unnerving, but I hope you will pause, take a deep breath, and call to see how I can assist you.
Life is too short to succumb to anxiety, bad relationships, or allow trauma and various life stressors to control us. I want you to be free of that invisible backpack full of emotional distress, to face your life the way you see fit, and to find andor maintain purpose in life areas such as parenting, marriage, family, and work just to name a few.
As a therapist since 2015, I have had the privilege to help individuals, couples, and families through some of their most challenging times. They have found their inner strength and healing by learning to recognize their unfathomable fortitude in desperate circumstances. In addition to working with clients as a therapist, I am also a Doula and Childbirth Educator with specialized training in perinatal mental health and couples.
Remember to seek a therapist who feels like a good fit to you, as you are the expert on your life. I honor the space you’re in and can ensure therapy is paced by your needs, but you will still need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable for growth to occur. Together we will chat about what you are looking for and identify your goals for treatment. As I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story and seek a life of abundance and joy.
I am excited that you have come this far to pursue your healing journey and I am looking forward to connecting with you.
