My Approach to Helping

I'm a licensed therapist with expertise in PTSD, trauma, disordered eating, and anxiety. Getting help is a brave step, but you don't have to do it alone! My practice is welcoming and inclusive no matter who you are. I work with my clients at their own pace to create a supportive space to reach meaningful and lasting change. My style is warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental. Whether you’re looking to work on self-esteem, heal body image, or recover from trauma, we'll work together to find the best approach for your needs.

More Info About My Practice

I’m passionate about helping LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients feel welcome in therapy. My approach is HAES (Health At Every Size) informed and weight inclusive. I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy and other evidence-based treatments that promote healing by helping people release themselves from shame, guilt and blame after trauma.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with people experiencing problems like PTSD or complex trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, and LGBTQ+ coming out issues. Many of my clients come to therapy to learn better ways to cope with toxic relationships, career stress, or family conflicts and benefit from building self-esteem.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

It's admirable to consider seeking therapy again, and it can take some time to trust a new provider! I always offer introductory calls so that my clients can have the time to ask all the questions that they need to find that right fit.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

A strong connection with the right therapist is crucial to getting the most out of therapy. It can already be hard to find therapy, so helping my clients feel safe, welcome, and validated is my priority.
