My Approach to Helping
My therapeutic approach is both collaborative and strengths-based. We will work together to determine what therapeutic style and interventions feel safe and comfortable for you. Through our work, you will see how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are related to each other, and how you can utilize mindfulness to improve your daily life. I rely on your feedback and use continuous check-ins to make sure that sessions continue to feel safe and comfortable for you. In my practice, I incorporate mindfulness techniques as well as techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
