My Approach to Helping
My approach is to create a safe, non-judgmental space in which all kinds of problems can be addressed, and all kinds of thoughts and feelings can be explored. With an attitude of patience, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of life and personality, I help people come to new understandings of themselves and their past, work through problems, and live life in a more truthful and satisfying manner.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy can help people by granting them the time and space needed to freely express themselves, and experience a unique relationship that allows for self-understanding, healing, and a sense of vitality and authenticity.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Going to therapy can be an act of tremendous courage, as it requires strength to face one's self, life, and problems as they are, and be willing to share and explore them with another person. There is strength to be found in our perceived weaknesses, and the unique process of therapy allows for the transformation of vulnerability into empowerment.
