My Approach to Helping
Hello there! I'm Kimberly Rivera, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with a master's degree in education (M.Ed.), based in the heart of New Jersey. My journey began at William Paterson University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology before pursuing my master's in professional counseling.
My passion lies in supporting and empowering individuals through life's challenges. I specialize in working with teenagers, young adults, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and those navigating life with autism spectrum disorder. I'm here to offer a helping hand to those facing the hurdles of depression and anxiety.

My toolkit includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, person-centered techniques, and the calming influence of mindfulness.
