My Approach to Helping
You're seeking relief, that's why you're here. Often, you may feel stuck due to current life events and going back to childhood trauma. The events are huge in your head and the memory or situation has a strong emotional charge that zaps you of energy, makes you feel angry or even sad and anxious. As we work together, you will feel relief as we reduce the charged memories by utilizing talk therapy or EMDR which can be beneficial to reduce the effects you're experiencing relating to trauma.

You will benefit greatly from an integrative (mind-body) approach combining Person Centered Therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), HBT (Habit Reversal Training), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and mindfulness. You will usually begin to feel relief within a few sessions and over time will improve your anxiously attached relationships at home and work.

What Makes up a Problem?
Therapy is most beneficial when we are committed to working together on a regular basis. Your greatest progress is made by attending weekly sessions and as symptoms improve you can spread sessions apart as you utilize your new skills and start feeling better. For some, that process can be three months and for others it can be a long term relationship for continued growth and remaining grounded. What's important is that you see symptoms reduce over time.
