My Approach to Helping
The first step to mental wellness is the hardest and requires courage. If you are ready to work on yourself and acknowledge some truths, I am available to listen, support, shared and counsel in a supportive, caring, and professional environment. We can work on relationship building with significant other, family members, friends, and colleagues. I specialize in building and supporting positive self-esteem and self-confidence while giving you the tools and techniques to be victorious. If life stressors and events are overwhelming, we can work together to find coping strategies. If you are a parent with a special needs child and just would like to discuss the challenges, I am a NYS Certified School Psychologist, we can work together to find solutions.
I enjoy working with people and my treatment approaches are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other disorders.
I have worked in education for over 15 years, I hold a master’s degree in School Psychology, a master’s degree in School Leadership and a Certification of Advance Study in Mental Health Counseling.
