My Approach to Helping
In a complex and stressful world, it’s important to carry peace and focus into your life. Whether it is dealing with anxiety or trying to find yourself, learning practical skills to build your self-esteem and manage stress can make you a better friend, better partner, and a better you. I began my own journey into counseling after seeing it work for myself. I have worked with college students, young men, and adolescents with whom I have witnessed the benefits of good therapy. Building mindfulness through meditation & CBT, putting words to emotions, and talking through past struggles and trauma are some of the methods I use to address clients. I strive not only to build trust and safety in our relationship, but to push you to be the best person you can be.
