My Approach to Helping
A creative career can be a source of joy. It also comes with unique pressures—like writer’s block, performance anxiety, uncertainty, and the constant judgment of others—that can impact your sense of wellbeing. As a musician and former marketing executive, I get it. Being an artist is hard. Work and identity are closely intertwined. The juxtaposition of "who you are" and "what you do" can deeply impact your relationships and sense of self.
It’s normal to experience periods in your career where you feel stuck, uninspired, or burned out. My work is focused around helping people find their own voice amongst the noise. That might look like getting re-inspired, owning your work, rationally detaching, or coping with the stress of it all in healthier ways. Ultimately, you will find balance in the chaos and create a self definition encompassing all of you–not just your gift.
Part of that process is “unlearning” the unhelpful dynamics we often unconsciously repeat. My job is to point out these tendencies to help you see why certain issues crop up and gain a new perspective. Together, we’ll collaborate in creating new patterns with better outcomes. We’ll find your perfect harmony.
