My Approach to Helping
Diana is a practicing psychotherapist with over ten years of experience. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, low self- esteem, relationship issues, substance abuse, trauma, body image, stress management, career & life transitions, and grief and loss.
Diana utilizes psychodynamic, behavioral, humanistic, and mindfulness modalities to address current life challenges, develop new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving to help you create a satisfying and meaningful life. Warm and engaging, she takes a creative, insightful, practical approach while providing a safe space to reflect, experiment, and figure out what actually works for you. Diana believes in the healing power of partnership. Together we will discover a unique blueprint that supports and is an expression of your authentic self.
Diana earned a Master of Social Work degree and completed postgraduate certification in Clinical Approaches to the Addictions at New York University. Diana is a native New Yorker and enjoys Kundalini yoga and taking meditative walks through the city’s parks.
