My Approach to Helping
I love the work that I do and look forward to each new opportunity for growth and forward movement for others and for myself as a practitioner. I begin therapy by learning about you, so I can better understand your goals, objectives, and the time line you have for reaching these goals.
I offer an individualized approach that draws upon your strengths and cultivates strategies for achieving your goals. I work with people who need help with substance abuse, as well as friends, family members, and significant others affected by a loved one's substance abuse. I work to help these loved ones better understand what they can and cannot do to help the loved one and themselves.
I also help clients with loss, grief, and serious mental health issues. I use a mindfulness-based approach to help clients manage PTSD and trauma. I also help clients cultivate deeper meaning by offering them a journey of self-exploration and insight. Ultimately, this can lead to significant changes, greater satisfaction, and deeper happiness. I would be honored to speak with you about the possibilities of working together.
