My Approach to Helping
I believe that it is a true privilege to be able to be invited into someone else's world. I take this very seriously in that I honor and give the utmost respect to the relationship that develops between the client and myself.
I strongly feel that much of the work that happens in therapy lies within the ability to foster a safe, trusting and nurturing space where one is able to freely express his/her own thoughts and emotions. My personal approach is warm, engaging, interactive and collaborative.
I formerly worked at the Mount Sinai Medical Center on an inpatient psychiatric unit. This experience has given me the opportunity to have worked with a very diverse population across a wide spectrum of mental health issues.
