Christopher utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches. These approaches are brought together in different ways depending on the person or people that he is working with. The root of his therapeutic style is pastoral counseling, whereby he helps the client incorporate spiritual dimensions of both the problem(s) and the ways to move forward. He also completed an advanced specialty in behavioral health during his clinical pastoral residency at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana. He is experienced working with people from a wide variety of faith backgrounds. His approach is also usually rooted in a systems understanding of the client's situation.

Hours are maintained by appointment with availability including weekday daytime and evening times as well as weekend hours. Potential clients may book an initial appointment through the practice website or by calling to discuss this with Christopher or any of the other clinicians in the practice. We have clinicians who regularly see clients in person in the New York City area although primarily sessions are conducted over a secure video link when the clients are in locations where the clinician is authorized to practice. These options can provide more flexibility for you while maintaining quality of care. At this time, Christopher has very restricted availability and only conducts sessions through telehealth. Client payment is accepted in the form of cash, checks or creditdebit cards. Clients who have desired to involve insurance coverage have often had good success at being covered for out of network services.
