My Approach to Helping
I believe that every human being has the ability to find meaning and purpose in their life. My style of therapy is very heavily dependent on making sure the client feels heard and has a space to feel like they can be open without being judged. When working with a client, I feel it is important to be genuine and have conversations that allow for a relationship to be built between therapist and client. Although I have a dry sense of humor, I enjoy a laugh throughout the session and highly encourage clients to bring their humor into the session as well. Life can be challenging and it is nice to have a feeling of light-hearted humor even if it is just for a second. There is space in my office for both light-hearted conversation and being able to process through the hard stuff as well depending on what is needed in each moment of time.

I aim to provide a safe, comfortable environment where people feel seen, heard, and respected. Many factors can contribute to feelings of unhappiness. Together we will take an integrative approach, addressing your needs as a whole person.
I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. I offer free consultations so you can get to know me and ask questions prior to starting therapy. I also offer appointments at flexible times to ensure that attending therapy is easy and convenient.
