My Approach to Therapy

Therapy with me is meant to feel like a real, collaborative conversationone where you feel seen, understood, and able to show up honestly. I bring warmth, humor, and directness into our work, while also holding space for the more difficult parts of your experience. I take an integrative approach, drawing from attachment, neurobiology, mindfulness, and early relational experiences to understand how different parts of your life are connected. Together, we look at what may be holding you back and develop a path forward that aligns with your goals and values. With children, I use non-directive play therapy to support emotional expression, confidence, and integration of experiences. I also work closely with parents, offering guidance, support, and insight into child development, attachment, and regulation. This allows changes to extend beyond sessions and into everyday life.

My Practice & Services

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from St. Catherine University. I work with young children, adults, and parents navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship stress. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, which is why I prioritize building a strong, trusting relationship from the beginning. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences and supported in making meaningful, lasting change.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and relational challenges using a compassionate, integrative approach. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and attachment-based modalities. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore the deeper patterns and experiences shaping your current struggles. This work supports greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and stronger, more secure connections?with yourself and others?so change feels sustainable, not forced.
