GoodTherapy.org is pleased to announce the implementation of GoodCause! GoodCause is our new sponsorship campaign designed to support not-for-profit organizations aligned with the GoodTherapy.org mission and vision. GoodTherapy.org membership and readership is currently at an all-time high, and we are honored to connect with nonprofit organizations to encourage our growing audience to give their time, support, and awareness to these good causes. The GoodTherapy.org GoodCause campaign aims to highlight and promote the honorable work of these organizations through increased visibility in marketing and social media efforts, as well as fundraising from therapist members of GoodTherapy.org and the general public.
New members signing up with GoodTherapy.org will now have the opportunity to donate to the GoodCause program during registration. Other people interested in supporting GoodCause may submit donations of any amount here. There is no minimum or maximum donation amount. All donations go through GoodTherapy.org’s secure system to the chosen GoodCause organization, which will change periodically.
The first GoodCause we are featuring is the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV, ncadv.org). The NCADV strives to eliminate domestic violence, empower victims, and unify direct service programs. NCADV also educates the public about domestic violence, as well as how to recognize and eliminate it from our culture. From public policy and legal advocacy to financial education programs, the NCADV supports survivors of domestic violence at the local, regional, and national level.
Spread the word about GoodCause! Like us, these organizations are dedicated to reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues, and they deserve recognition for their work. Share your support with your friends on social media and encourage them to get involved as well. If you are affiliated with a nonprofit organization that fits in with our mission and vision and would like your nonprofit organization to be considered for GoodCause, please contact us.
