On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Are you on the fence about anything or anyone else?

Sometimes when we have mixed feelings about going to therapy, it represents how we feel about other relationships in our lives. One way to approach your mixed feelings is to talk about it. This can help you make a decision and also use your mixed feelings an opportunity to learn more about yourself. If we talk about your ambivalence, then we can decide together if therapy is right for you.

My View on the Nature of 'Disorders'

I think of people as having lots of different parts of ourselves. We identify with many different things, roles and people. We are more than disorders- and I encourage and foster an attitude of self acceptance- of all of our parts. Our "good" parts, our "bad" parts, and everything else.
