Fortunate to have found my calling in psychotherapy, I love supporting your healing with a heartfelt SE-informed approach. To do so competently, I continually seek to cultivate skills via ongoing training and extensive practice. In addition to a foundation of respect, competency further supports the trust essential to collaboratively setting and working toward goals.

My professional development over the past several years focused on trauma and addictive disorders, employment-related challenges, interpersonal struggles, life transitions, grief and existential dilemmas. My background ranges from assessing and identifying an appropriate level of care for individuals in acute crisis to intensive outpatient treatment, individual & group counseling.

More Info About My Practice

For people whose diagnoses qualify them to access their insurance benefits, I am able bill on your behalf or provide billing statements if preferred.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Anxiety-related symptoms, depression, substance abuse, trauma

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Initially, psychotherapy can help reduce symptoms and improve intellectual functions, like memory and concentration. Once a person is less symptomatic, psychotherapy can help build interpersonal skills, improve self care and address effects of trauma. Old management strategies, like substance abuse or tantrumming can be replaced with newer more effective ways of managing stress and relationships for improved quality of life going forward.
