Do you often wonder "How did I get here?" Do you find yourself trying to make changes only to fall back into old patterns? Are you unhappy with your current life situation or relationship? Is a past hurt or trauma making it difficult to move ahead in life? These challenges can lead to feelings of isolation, anger, depression, and anxiety often carrying over into our life by withdraw from family, poor work performance, or coping with unhealthy habits. These issues need compassionate, responsive care and reaching out is the first step toward help. I offer comprehensive counseling to individuals, couples, and families looking for support in the midst of life's most difficult challenges.

I use a solution focused, holistic approach to help clients gain a clearer understanding of themselves and those they are in relationship with. You will find a peaceful, profession and clinical but comfortable atmosphere. My specialties include helping clients discover a strong sense of self worth, restoring relationships through building self confidence and trust, de-escalating conflict, communication, and supporting families through parent mentoring and family structure planning.

My goal is to provide a relaxed, encouraging environment where you feel heard, understood, and completely accepted. We will work together to get you from where you are, to where you want to be. Do something today to strengthen you tomorrow; contact me today. Day and evening appointments available.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Ghandi wrote, "Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony." Yet, there are times we put off pursuing our own happiness because we worry about what others may think of us. Seeking help in a pursuit of a better self or relationship is not weak, it is one of the strongest things one can do. Change is hard but it is also possible when we desire to be a more positive version of ourselves.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

Because the relationship with your counselor is one of the most important elements for successful therapy, I am committed to a tailored treatment approach that accounts for each client's unique life story and meets their specific goals and needs. This is accomplished by building a relationship with my clients that is honest, mutually respected, compassionate, and authentic. Ultimately, my goal is to help you thrive, not survive, in meaningful, healthy relationships.
