What's My Approach to Therapy?

The decision to begin therapy takes courage - courage to look at what's not working, courage to make healthy changes, and courage to trust a therapist to help you grow and heal. I will work with you to create a safe environment to explore and resolve the issues you are facing, and to know your inherent wholeness. Therapy is your journey so the focus of our sessions will be you, your process, your needs and goals. You may have a sense that something in your life needs to change or is not working the way you envisioned it. I have been trained in a variety of modalities so I will work with you in whatever ways are most helpful to your individual or couple therapy process. Beginning with the understanding that the therapeutic relationship can be a foundation of healing, I am committed to a collaborative journey with you. I work with both individual clients and couples to help them gain self-awareness, increase self-esteem, create healthy boundaries, decrease volatility in their life, and explore new possibilities for life, work and love. As your therapist, I will work with you to empower you to create a more meaningful life by transforming your present concerns into solutions for healing and wholeness.
