Hello,
Having compassion for others and the challenges they meet in their lives is an innate part of who I am.
As a therapist working both virtually and in-person with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety and depression (caused by any number of reasons) I provide a safe and accepting environment where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgement. My open-mindedness, unconditional positive regard and empathy make it possible for you to discuss whatever is on your mind. In our work together I will listen carefully, ask questions to clarify and comment on your thoughts and feelings. We will focus on understanding your conflicts, how you protect yourself from painful feelings and how this might be interfering with your relationships and enjoyment of life. We will identify your strengths and guide you towards learning new ways to cope with stressors and manage your anxiety and depression. My experience is that the solutions lie within each client and my goal is to help you find them.
