My Approach to Helping
My work with clients offers a safe and supportive space to address recovery from the impact of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, and other common issues, as well as guidance with executive functioning skills. My work centers around collaborating with each person and family unit as a unique whole with many interconnected parts. I create a collaborative environment between myself and the client where our work focuses on understanding one’s whole experience: past, present, and future. Together with my clients, we address challenges by acknowledging and piecing together the past, utilizing mindfulness tools and supportive relationships to establish a sense of safety and well-being in the present, and, as a result, aim to shape one’s outlook on the future.
I use a client-centered approach by creating a space where clients feel supported by the focus of their choosing and address their needs at their own pace.
