My Approach to Helping
I am a Mental Health Counselor and Life Coach who works with individuals of any age. If you are in the midst of a life transition, such as marriage, divorce, job/career changes, motherhood, health challenges, existential crises, or loss of any kind, I believe a compassionate listener with a toolbox of actions can guide the client to reframe the situation and thereby enable the client to see their concerns in a different, more positive, light. Perhaps you have no idea where you are going or what you are supposed to do in life. Let’s explore your potential and find your purpose.
My approach is a mix of Viktor Frankl’s philosophy of logotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that promotes action towards finding life’s purpose and thereby achieving happiness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.
My life experience raising a family while pursuing a full-time career in the business world is an invaluable tool in providing insight into life skills, relationships, and challenges unique to those in similar positions trying to balance it all. My experience as an immigrant provides me with insight into the struggles of cultural adaptation and what It feels like to adjust to change. I look forward to working with you to reinvigorate your enthusiasm for life and replace stress and anxiety with optimism for the future.
