My Approach to Helping

It takes courage to tell your story, be vulnerable, and practice introspection. But as the old saying goes, “a problem shared is a problem halved.” Whether you’re experiencing challenges in your relationships, family, career, health, or questioning your life path, we’ll work together to find a solution.

I’m a Counselor and Life Coach who supports people during life transitions—including marriage, divorce, career changes, motherhood, and grief and loss. Whatever you’re going through, I’ll be a compassionate listener who reframes the situation and so you can see it in a different, more positive, light.

My approach draws heavily from logotherapy, which promotes action toward finding life’s purpose. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and solution-focused therapies to help clients examine life transitions, relationship friction, and the many other challenges they might encounter in life.

Mental health and physical health are intertwined. I believe a holistic approach that incorporates good nutrition and exercise enhances talk therapy. A sense of humor is also invaluable in creating perspective and easing the load we are carrying. With that in mind, I look forward to working with you to reinvigorate your enthusiasm for life and optimism for the future.

More Info About My Practice

As a therapist, I often draw from my experience raising a family while pursuing a full-time career in the business world. I’m also an immigrant, which gives me perspective on the struggles of cultural adaptation and adjusting to change. My life experiences— together with my education—provide the foundation for me to help you move through life’s challenges and come out stronger on the other side.
I am a Resilience Lab therapist. Our mission is to create a systemic impact in the US mental health market by improving access to quality care. We are building the largest and most diverse community of clinicians working collaboratively to produce better outcomes.
