What's My Approach to Therapy?
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that healing happens in genuine, human connection. While our clinicians bring diverse backgrounds, our approach is consistently client-centered and collaborative. We don't just focus on symptoms; we work with you to understand your story and equipped you with practical tools to create the life you want.
My Practice & Services
Therapy is a chance for growth, a chance for happiness, a chance for a life worth living. I am a board-certified licensed mental health counselor in New York, practicing in the Queens-based area. I have a bachelor's in psychology and a master's in mental health counseling, both from St.John's University, a CACREP-accredited university. I provide treatment to individuals, couples, and families. My Areas of specialized training include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), child and family therapy, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), personal coaching, personality issues, crisis management, vocational guidance, trauma issues, and addictions.
My Therapy Focus
Negativity has a way of dampening our spirits and clouding our potential. I believe that true transformation happens when we shift our focus toward the thoughts that lift us up but I also know that this shift doesn't happen overnight.
I often tell my clients that "Rome was not built in a day." In a world of "quick fixes," I offer a different approach: a commitment to the deep, meaningful work that leads to a lifetime of change. I provide a safe, mutually respectful space where you are invited to be your most authentic self. Here, vulnerability isn?t a weakness; it?s the doorway to becoming the best version of yourself.
Therapy is a journey, and while the work can be challenging, the payout is a life rooted in clarity, positivity, and resilience. Let?s start building your foundation together.
