Compassionate and down to earth, I treat every client with unconditional respect and empathy. I also hold you accountable for your thinking and behaviour traps which keep you stuck. I have been helping people improve their quality of life for over 20 years.

I provide a very safe and nurturing environment which encourages clients towards change and growth. I challenge people to look at unskillful thinking traps and unhelpful habits of behaviour, all the while supporting self-acceptance and love. I specialize in mindfulness therapy which invites peace into our lives through learning how to be fully present in the moment. I also incorporate other evidence-based practices including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and solution focused brief therapy (SFBT).

I am passionate about social justice and rights for all people, regardless of religion, place of origin, sexual orientation, beliefs, gender or any other factor.

If you are ready to challenge your old way of doing things and embrace the elements necessary for a happy and peaceful life, then give me a call.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

I always say that everyone could use psychotherapy. Not because there is something wrong with us, but we can always use new skills to make our lives easier.

For example, often our thinking traps are invisible to us. We take things too personally or we constantly make assumptions or we think we can predict the future. Recognizing our thinking errors can awaken us to a new and happier reality.

We can learn so many new things about ourselves and our way of interacting with the world in therapy. Whether it's improving communication, processing past events, emotion regulation, or a host of other life challenges, therapy can help.

Life does not need to be hard. Let's work together to lighten the load...
