My Approach to Helping
The human experience is a winding journey and along the way, we sometimes get lost. The lostness that we feel is often a disconnection from the Self. We create stories that take us further away from our inner knowing and truth. These stories serve a purpose and have often kept us safe. Together, we look at which parts of your story are impacting your life now and which parts are no longer aligned. Therapy is an opportunity to sit with our experiences, clarify our understanding of our Self, and explore the questions that occupy our thoughts. All parts of our being are welcome. Through compassion, my role is to help facilitate your process of wonder, reflection, and discovery.
Carl Jung stated, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” In addition to talk therapy, I specialize in using dreams, images, and body work as a way to guide the work so that we can explore that unconscious space.
