I love working with clients who want to improve their relationships and continue the process of self-growth. I embrace a judgment-free, active and psycho-dynamic approach to therapy. I also offer my clients practical guidance. I'm a wife and mother to two teenage boys, giving me unique insight into and appreciation for the challenges families and couples face.

More Info About My Practice

Currently, I do not accept insurance but offer sliding scale from $50 to $130. Military and student discounts are available. Individual sessions are 50 minutes and couples sessions are 90 minutes typically to allow for the greatest treatment gains.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I've worked with a wide variety of people facing complex challenges such as post-traumatic stress, marital conflict, ADHD, adolescent behavioral challenges, eating disorders, aging parents, psychosis, trauma, GLBT issues, violence, and sexual abuse. I can work with both individuals and families.

Additionally, I have been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (aka ART), which has become known and as a quick and effective way to treat Combat PTSD symptoms. Recently, I have been honored with the privilege to practice ART with U.S. soldiers at Memorial Hospital of Tampa. Because of my gratitude to our returning troops, I offer military discounts for my services. Contact me for more information.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I am passionate about helping others empower themselves and embrace a greater sense of well-being. I love the gratification I get when a client tells me something I said helped to make difference in their life. I enjoy using my training and experience to "pay it forward" helping to make the world a better place, one person at a time. Quite simply, I absolutely love assisting others in helping themselves.
