Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
A lot of my clients have had previous experiences with therapy - some great, and some, not so much. When you're looking for a therapist, counselor or psychologist, take the time to get to know them, and ask yourself if they feel like a good fit for you. Do you feel understood, respected, and comfortable? Do they seem to know what you're talking about, and how to treat your concerns? Do they ask you for feedback regarding your experience of therapy, your needs, and your goals? You have many choices, and the decision is yours.
