My Approach to Helping

It takes courage to ask for help, and you've taken the first step by starting your search for the right therapist. I know it is important for you to feel safe and secure with the person you choose. I offer a non-judgemental and relaxed environment to help make this process a little easier for you.

Get in touch today. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation and have two locations - we can meet either in Littleton near Columbine High School, or in Denver in the Highlands area. You don't have to keep enduring the pain, we can start working towards a place of healing right away.

More Info About My Practice

The fee for individual counseling is $125 per session.

At the moment, we are not in network with any insurance companies and are unable to bill directly for this. We can provide you with a receipt that has all the appropriate codes for you to submit a claim yourself.

This is a profile about me as an individual therapist, however, I am also part of a group of fantastic therapists. In case I am not the best fit for you in counseling, the other counselors at LifePaths are also skilled and non-judgmental, and we are connected to a large community of therapists in the Denver area as well. Our goal is always to get you with the right person who can help you, and if I'm not the right one, our Director at LifePaths will assist you in finding a counselor that fits you best.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

We have a list of questions on our website to ask a therapist, that help you get a feel for what the therapist is like and whether that person might be a good fit. You can find that list on our website by clicking "FAQ" on the menu. This is the most important way to get results in therapy - to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. Many counselors will offer either an in-person or a phone consultation at no cost to give you a chance to ask those questions, to get a feel for the person and their style. We always suggest that potential clients try to talk to at least three counselors before choosing someone.

We know it can be difficult to make that first call and possibly even more difficult to get yourself to your first appointment, and we try to put you at ease as much as possible, as well as give you as much information as we can so you know what to expect.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

We think the client is the main one to decide when therapy is complete. As your counselor, each of us would let you know what we think and collaborate with you to help you move in the direction that is best for you.

The duration and frequency of counseling is different for everyone. We see clients weekly, every two weeks and sometimes once a month. And along with that, sometimes clients feel they have what they need after one or two sessions, while others greatly benefit from more lengthy therapy. This is another area where the client and counselor collaborate to go in the direction that is best for the client.
