My Approach to Helping

**Due to the current health crisis, I am currently offering HIPPA compliant Teletherapy sessions. I also have early morning and evening availability.

Are you or your child having difficulty making sense of life in 2020? It has been a tumultuous year to say the least. I come from a humanistic approach, believing that the client is the expert in their life. I will collaborate with you to determine how we can best serve your needs in these trying times, exploring your innate gifts and abilities. Additionally, we can work together to discover insights that may have been holding you back from achieving your goals.

I work with kids who may have trouble paying attention in school or relating to their peers. I also work with teenagers and adults who may be facing relationship struggles, stress, as well as symptoms of depression and anxiety. Over the years, I have worked with adults suffering from severe psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse. I see kids and their families, addressing their various needs and helping them to achieve their goals. I welcome the opportunities to meet and work with a variety of people, who possess their own unique strengths.

I strongly believe in the cathartic value that creative endeavors bring, and will challenge you to tap into that intrinsic part of yourself. I am here to guide and foster collaboration to determine how we can best address your needs. I tailor therapeutic interventions to each session, utilizing a wide array of techniques from mindfulness-based stress reduction, psychoanalytic theory, cognitive behavioral theory, and motivational interviewing. I also hold certifications in Hypnotherapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to learning more about you and helping you become the best version of yourself!
