My Approach to Helping
I am interested in learning about you. This includes what is going well in your life and what are some of the things that you would like to change. My approach is to listen carefully and help you figure out how you would like to move forward. There are times that I will ask questions, offer things to think about and encourage self reflection in a safe, open environment.
More Info About My Practice
I believe that a good match between client and therapist is essential for "good therapy." If you decide to contact me, I will suggest that we meet for a consultation meeting where we will both get a chance to learn more about one another, and you will have a better idea as to whether you feel comfortable moving forward.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have extensive experience working with individuals who engage in self harm behaviors. By self harm, I mean to include: eating disorders, self-mutilation, suicidal thinking, and problematic relationships.
