My Approach to Helping

I provide services for adults, children, teenagers, families, and couples. My individual therapies include play, creative arts, and talk therapy for children and adolescents struggling with functioning in their families, school, community, and social-interpersonal relationships. Cognitive behavioral modification interventions are also provided.

More Info About My Practice

Hope Services, LLC is located in the Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, New York. We are a dynamic, innovative, pragmatic, and professional outpatient mental health service program with a patient-centered treatment model that is geared toward providing services to the multicultural community within which it operates. With a specialty in providing treatment to children and adolescents (ages 5-18), Hope Services, LLC also accepts and treats adults. We are therefore dedicated to the mental and behavioral healthcare of children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. We offer a safe, therapeutic, comfortable, and respectful environment. Additional Languages Spoken: French, Haitian Creole.

We offer play therapy, group therapy, creative art therapy, coaching, and behavior modification interventions. Assessments are provided at the very beginning of the intake as well as during the treatment process. The goal of the initial assessment session is to determine the appropriateness of admission for the client, to begin to develop an understanding of the presenting problems, and to answer any questions that the client and family have regarding the therapy process.

Parents are an integral part of working with children and adolescents. Parents are encouraged to meet with the therapist regularly to discuss issues as they arise, process ways to help the child, and process progress being made. Psychoeducation interventions are critical. Family counseling and group therapy are available.
