I am a licensed mental health counselor and certified health coach located in NYC. I help people improve their overall wellness - whether that's losing weight, improving nutrition, reducing stress, or making exercise a regular part of their routine. I also work with people on relationship concerns, self-esteem, and general life transitions. It makes me so happy to give people the tools to live their healthiest life possible, both mentally and physically. I believe in a holistic approach, and strongly feel that your mental, physical, and social health are all connected. Sessions are available in person and via a secure, online video platform.

My Role as a Therapist

I approach therapy with the idea that you are the expert on your own life. I don't believe there is one "right" approach to therapy, and always want to work with people to find the best way to help them specifically. When helping people achieve their goals, I believe in working towards sustainable changes that will last long term.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Going to therapy is actually a huge sign of strength. It takes a lot of bravery and courage to say to yourself that you need help, and you are dedicated to making changes in order to live your best life possible. It's very routine to go to a doctor for routine checkups or annual physicals, and your mental health is no different. Sometimes you just need a safe place to work through what's going on in your life. Life is hard, and there's nothing at all wrong with getting extra support.
