My Approach to Therapy

It’s never been more important to learn how to self-regulate: to settle yourself down when you’re freaked out, to get yourself engaged when you’ve frozen. To cultivate your sense of coherence and capacity. I can help you do that in our sessions, and teach you how to get there yourself, when you’re facing these challenges on your own. And as so much of healing comes from relationships, both personal and in a professional healing ones, it is essential to build these connections. When we’re stuck in a threat response, it’s hard to reach out and feel others’ support. There are many challenges we are currently facing, and we don’t have to do it alone. Getting your system regulated and calm can help you better access the support that is here. Incorporating the body into the conversation of healing is an essential part of developing vitality and joy. The focus of my practice is to work directly with the physiology and with energetic systems, building health and slowly renegotiating how life challenges were managed. The modalities I use to guide this work are Somatic Experiencing, Polarity Therapy, Inner Relationship Focusing, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, AEDP, Reiki and Realization Process, supported by psychotherapy.

My Practice & Services

I offer both in person (that may include table work to support regulation and trauma renegotiation) and virtual work. I am quite happily surprised at how this rich somatic work easily translates to the virtual medium! Let’s work together and strengthen your connection to yourself, your wellbeing, and to the support that we all need.

My Role as a Therapist

Is to help you connect to your body, to learn how to cultivate good feelings and grounding, and also tend to what needs our care.
