My Approach to Helping
I am passionate about women’s issues – both in out and of the mental health field – and am especially interested in working with young adult and millennial women attempting to navigate the unique social pressures and challenges associated with this life stage. I specialize in helping people learn new ways to manage anxiety through mindfulness and stress management techniques, increase self-esteem and feelings of self worth, establish boundaries within relationships, and develop healthy self-care practices among other areas.
I have clinical experience working with adults and adolescents on issues including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and those experiencing general life transitions (i.e., loss of job, relationship difficulties, life role changes, etc.). My therapeutic style is gentle, encouraging, and evidence based with an appreciation and interest in holistic modalities
