My Approach to Helping
My goal as a therapist is to create a therapeutic foundation to work collaboratively with my client(s) to assist them in reaching their personal goals for change, growth, and healing. I use many skills to promote a safe environment to allow each individual to reach hisher potential self-worth. It is my hope to guide each client to reach their full potential so that they can overcome any challenge they may be experiencing.
My areas of expertise include the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, social difficulties, ADHD, relationship problems, and stress. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have helped those with presenting with problems such as anxiety, depression, communication problems, anger management, history of abuse, relational difficulties, family conflict, behavior problems, and low self-esteem.
I am diverse in my approach to therapy and acclimate to the individual needs of each client. My theoretical framework for clinical practice is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with influences from Humanistic Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Treatment is focused on building solutions in the present, helping those to make changes now while reaching a new perspective on their thought process and behaviors.
