My Approach to Helping

I offer insightful, caring, and professional help to navigate the challenges of life transitions, loss, and grief. Whether you're struggling with acute grief due to a recent loss, or suffering the cumulative effects of losses from the past, your experiences offer powerful opportunities for change and growth.

It would be my privilege to help you identify and gently release your obstacles to a life that is authentic, centered, and satisfying. I have more than 30 years of experience working with organizations and individuals during times of transition. I use a compassionate, collaborative, and holistic approach. Many of the everyday events of life, such as the death of a loved one, changes in your career or job, aging, health problems, relationship issues, and midlife changes, can lead to feelings of sadness, confusion, stress, emptiness, and disillusionment. I offer caring help from an unbiased perspective.

More Info About My Practice

I've had post-graduate training in bereavementgrief, and working with survivors of childhood abuse and neglect. I'm affiliated with Buddy's Place, a bereavement program serving Chicago's western suburbs, where I served as a previous co-director and current group facilitator. I work with individuals, couples, and families, and offer educational support groups, training, and workshops addressing issues such as loss, grief, and life transitions.
