My Approach to Helping

The way couples communicate often misses the more important core issue or desire. Thus, the same old surface arguments, or ways of relating persist. It can seem so hopeless!

Rest assured, all is not lost. I can help you realize and express each of your unmet needs in ways that actually bring you closer to each other instead of causing conflict. When you hear and understand each other more deeply and accurately, it is amazing how naturally it elicits caring and helpful responses.

I want to remove the obstacles and get you both focused on being a team who helps each other and are sensitive to each other's needs. You both want happiness and fulfillment and I would love to help you find it.

The basic ingredients of relationships are sometimes hard to come by or maintain. These ingredients include, respect, compromise, emotional intimacy, trust, acceptance, and communication. When any of these ingredients are lacking, the relationship becomes vulnerable. Some argue, some"check out," others find themselves seeking what they need in an affair or other damaging ways of coping.

Often couples find an affair to be the most devastating. In the case of various forms of infidelity, you would be surprised what can be overcome and how learning from it can actually build a stronger and healthier relationship.

-Parenting conflicts.

-Lifestyle conflicts Retirement Health issues.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

For most, there seems to be one partner that is resistant to seeking help. It is understandable that some could feel threatened by the idea as it may seem like a set up for taking sides. Yet, this is the very thing I want to avoid the most. I am not interested in who is rightwrong. I am only interested in helping each of you get what you need and to find happiness together. Others may be skeptical about therapy and have doubts about its ability to help. I truly can appreciate healthy skepticism. Nobody wants to waste money or time. I'm no different. I don't want to waste your time or money.

Most people spend weeksmonths contemplating getting professional help. During that time, most continue to do what hasn't worked and things can deteriorate fast. When you contact me today you are opening the door to believing in, and learning a new approach to these obstacles.
