My Approach to Helping
Being well is important to face life's challenges which often change how we see ourselves, others, and our connection to the world around us. It can feel overwhelming, whether you are making intentional, positive changes in your life, or dealing with unexpected or unwanted events. We all need support with these changes through healing relationships of many forms - friends, family, partners, teachers, spiritual mentors, pets and therapists. I provide mindful and compassionate counseling for those seeking wellness, emotional growth and support through the challenges and changes in life.
I have over 20 years of counseling experience in an array of settings, supporting adults and youth suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, ADHD, grief and loss. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and I believe in treating the whole person, with individualized strategies using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma related therapies.
