My Approach to Helping
Whatever your health and wellness objective, my focus is empathetically listening and exploring new ways to reduce anxiety, frustration or sadness. I team up with both men and women individually and I also work with couples.
For individuals new to therapy or returning to the process, we'll work together in a compassionate and confidentially-safe place. Know you'll have in me an advocate who is committed to your best interest.
For couples in all relationship stages, I'll partner with the both of you to enhance communication, discuss where the relationship is at and where you would like it to go. Gottman, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) are methodologies we will use to broaden your abilities to express preferences and feel understood and respected. In cases where your partner may not initially be open to coming to counseling, please know that individual marital therapy or simply individual therapy is an option for you.
