Chris adopts a highly humanistic approach in his therapeutic practice, emphasizing the uniqueness of each individual, and tailoring therapy to align with their distinct needs. He places paramount importance on fostering a robust and meaningful therapeutic connection between himself and the client.
In the pursuit of this connection, Chris skillfully employs evidence-based techniques such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, and humor to help his clients progress in their therapeutic journey. These methods serve to create a welcoming and warm-hearted atmosphere within the therapeutic space, facilitating a conducive environment for the clients’ personal growth and healing.
Before pursuing his graduate degree, Chris worked as a New York City EMT where he was able to interact with and help individuals from all walks of life before and during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. His experience helping people through times of extreme crisis equipped him to provide support to anyone overcoming even the most challenging circumstances in their lives.
Chris demonstrates a notable aptitude for working with youth and young adults navigating transitional phases in life while grappling with significant systemic challenges. He dedicates himself to assisting individuals in overcoming these adversities.
Having grown up in multiple countries including Spain, Saudi Arabia, Israel, South Africa, Greece and the USA, Chris has had the opportunity to gain multicultural insight and awareness that has helped him interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds who may find themselves in his care.
