My Approach to Helping
I am a solution-focused, goal oriented, cognitive behavioral therapist. I will do whatever is necessary, within reason to help you achieve your goals in therapy and life. I have many years of experience; I love this work and I know that the counseling I do with individuals and couples is effective for implementing positive change. If you are looking to make some changes or deal with some past traumatic events, please do not hesitate to give me a call or send me an email. I honor my time with patients and I know that change can happen and very often does so. I look forward to meeting you.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
I know that stigma exists and it is self-defeating. The truth is that counseling takes courage, strength, and a desire to have a better life. We all have these characteristics, but they are not always obvious. Take the step today to do what is right for you. From my experience, most people have tried to solve the problem on their own for years before getting here, have read many self-help books, maybe even attended meetings or seminars, and been to many different websites. If you want something different and actually effectual, let's get started. You can make a change for the better and counseling can help you make that change.
