My Approach to Helping
There are many reasons people seek out therapy, but if you are looking for change in your life, my approach may work really well for you. In my practice, I focus on helping you gain the skills and tools you need to move toward the life you want. I am a solution-focused, goal-oriented, cognitive-behavioral therapist. Creating a neutral, safe space where you can work through the challenges you’re facing individually or as a couple is central to my work.
Your therapy goals are my goals. Once we have established your reason for coming to therapy, we’ll work together to achieve those goals in therapy and in life. You’ll be equipped with the new strategies you need to make change happen, but you’ll also be examining the ideas behind your current patterns and actions.
I have many years of experience; I love this work and I know that the counseling I do with individuals and couples is effective for implementing positive change.
