Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
"No man is an island, entire of itself" are wise words from noted poet, John Donne. All human beings are raised up or brought down by their community. I have found many times that people sit in their suffering because of the fear that comes from being vulnerable with others. Counseling provides that place, a safe haven, where you can be all too human. Flaws and vulnerabilities are common to all and reaching out for help builds a bridge joining you once again to the continent of others.
