My Approach to Helping
Do you ever feel like you're running on empty and at a loss for what to do next? You might know you want life to look different, but you're not sure how to get there. Maybe it's your teen who's struggling with depression, anger, or behaviors, your kiddo who can't help but throw fits at the drop of a hat, or maybe it's you who's struggling with past trauma, overwhelming anxiety, or uncertainty with your relationships. No matter the struggle, you don't have to deal with it alone.
I specialize with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, adoption, and ADHD. Sometimes we know where our emotions and behaviors are coming from and sometimes we have no idea. That's something we can figure out together. I am trained in EMDR, NMT, and neurofeedback and I use elements of CBT, emotion focused therapy, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, and experiential therapy. Treatment isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we can figure out the right plan for you or your child.
