Whether your relationship is at a crisis point or just needs some tweaking, I am here to help you achieve your goals. Since 1991, the focus of my practice has been on helping couples and individuals have more satisfying relationships. We live in a day and age where we have greater expectations for our relationships but don't always know how that can be accomplished. You can expect that I will work with you to sort out what's not working, give you specific tools to help things work better, and encourage changes that make a difference for you. People tell me they appreciate the calm I bring to the situation, the practical tips they learn, and my direct approach.
Some of the ways I work with couples is to help you learn how to communicate more effectively, or to handle conflict more respectfully and efficiently, or to address areas in your relationship that you keep getting stuck in.
I've also worked extensively with couples recovering from an affair. We start by managing the crisis and then move on to understanding why the affair happened and whether you want to repair the relationship and how that can happen.
Maybe you just want to come in by yourself to figure some things out. Individual therapy can be very useful when you have lost touch with your own wants and desires.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
Deciding to go into therapy is a big decision. It's not easy to ask for help. But we're not meant to figure the big things in life on our own. I always consider it an honor when people ask me for help along their journey. I have great respect for the courage it takes to ask for help. I look forward to working with you.
