I discovered my passion for counseling through working in youth ministry throughout my undergraduate studies. I began to recognize that so many people are bombarded with negative situations that are of their control. This led me to seek a career in school and community counseling. I enjoy connecting with others, hearing their stories, and learning about what makes them who they are. My goal is to help people discover their strengths and utilize them to reach their goals. I work with a strength based approach to transform negative thinking and self-talk to positive thinking and an improved sense of self-worth. Every person deserves the space and resources to become their best self.

I have experience working with a variety of presenting concerns including self-injury, stress, anxiety, anger, bereavement, depression, and trauma.

I am trained in EMDR, which is a client centered modality of therapy used to treat PTSD and trauma.

My work as a school counselor has also increased my experience working with adolescents and parents.
